It is a well deserved brake for a vehicle which changed three generations in only a few years. Hybrid model is offered in few distinctive grades which is more than many of its competitors do.
As already mentioned, MKZ hybrid offers you a choice between Premiere, Select, Reserve and Preferred trims. There’s only one option under the hood, however, and it is 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle I4 hybrid engine with 141 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque. Out back, MKZ is also unique, and has tail-lights connected by a thin light bridge which you won’t be able to see in many other nameplates.
Inside, MKZ offers only best possible options, with leather upholstery and plethora of wood and ambient color options. Dashboard has an instrument panel which seamlessly continues into center stack with plenty of storage room and an armrest. 8-inch touch screen is standard across the lineup and is responsible for infotainment features like navigation, audio controls and smart device connectivity. Gauge cluster in hybrid models is different than in conventional ones which is natural, and comes with Ford’s leaf efficiency meter. MKZ also boasts with arguably the biggest-in-class panoramic sunroof which spans almost across the whole roof.
As far as safety features are concerned, it has all the standard options. Rearview camera is optional which is a bit disappointing, and so are blind-spot monitors and cross-traffic alerts, but from even higher grade than a backup camera system.
38 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway are MKZ hybrid’s fuel economy ratings, and these are class-leading numbers.

2015 Lincoln MKZ hybrid is one of the most unique and beautiful mid-size luxury vehicles around. Its good looking interior and great fuel efficiency come as a bonus and if you are looking for a good hybrid sedan, you’ll be hard-pressed to find better one than MKZ.
