One of the most powerful cars is 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS. At this years Geneva Motor Show the Koenigsegg company has appeared with two cars to present. Showcased as the stronger side of the Koenigsegg force was the Regera hybrid megacar , with 1500 hp under its hood.
The brand has also used its home-turf motor show to unveil the track-focused Agera RS model, and to show that there is no shortage of horsepower coming from their stable these days, as well as that there is no such thing as too much power. Positioned in between the 1124 hp Agera R and the 1341 hp vehicle called the One:1, the 2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS comes with upgraded aerodynamics and power and weight reduction, in order to make this car the ultimate track tool.
The perfect example of this situation is the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo comparison, giving up some top-end power in order to enhance handling and cornering abilities. That is what the Agera RS is to the One:1.
2016 Koenigsegg Agera RS Design
As far as the exterior of the 2016 Koenigsegg RS goes, If you can imagine Batman upgrading his Batmobile for racing, you have a pretty good idea how the RS looks. Every single feature on the Agera’s exterior has been shaped in order to give better aerodynamic performance, which results with the Agera RS having a very aggressive and distinct look.
To help the Agera RS not take off while speeding up, it has received a massive splitter, fascia winglets and lower side skirts, but the biggest aerodynamic upgrade is that evil-looking back wing that delivers almost 1000 pounds of downforce at 155 mph. Air flow is also almost effortless, thanks to the underbody flaps, bigger air vents behind the front wheels and a redesigned back fascia with a bigger air opening.
When you take a look at the interior of the Koenigsegg Agera RS, you will see that it features plenty of exposed carbon fiber, but no major changes have been done compared to the other Agera models. Koenigsegg does come with some optional features, such as a diamond-encrusted key fob, roof scoop, and a luggage set.
